The Board of Directors this past week announced that all members who pay their October dues before December 31, 2020, will receive access to one free Pathways path. As some of our members are discovering, the upper levels of Pathways are can be challenging to complete. Sometimes we need more skills than a single path offers. This is a great opportunity to acquire a new path and broaden your speaking and leadership skills, by doing Levels 1, 2 or 3, 4, or 5 all over again in a new path.
Want to be a funnier speaker? Try Engaging Humor. Want to become a more effective planner and event organizer? Try Innovative Planning. Need to lead a team at work, or draw together a team from multiple organizations? Try Leadership Development or Effective Coaching. There are twelve paths to try, and completing levels in multiple paths can help you, and your club, become more effective communicators and leaders. This free Pathways path also offers you the chance to direct your efforts toward completing two paths, one of the necessary landmarks on the way to becoming a Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM).
If you’ve joined your club for another six months starting on October 1, the District officers invite you to go to Toastmasters.org now, and sign in. Once there, you can click on your profile page, and follow the links to sign up for a new path. Although it may say “pay $20”, you’ll find that you’re led directly to the checkout page where your payment total will be $0.00! Sign up today.
